WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

In this Pop Art POSCA Workshop with Keyton Bonebrake, you’ll have guided instruction to learn how to:

• Understand POSCA Markers and Materials – Get familiar with POSCA markers, Blackwing matte pencils, and black cardstock, understanding the unique qualities of each tool.
• Practice Linework Techniques – Learn foundational linework techniques to add depth and detail to your illustrations.
• Create a Finished Pop Art Piece – Choose between a vibrant fish or bug subject and bring it to life with your new skills, creating a complete illustration with POSCA markers.
• Build Confidence with POSCA Markers – Gain hands-on experience and develop confidence using POSCA markers, leaving with techniques to continue exploring at home.
• A Complete Artwork to Take Home – Leave with a finished POSCA marker illustration, along with new skills and techniques to continue creating bold, expressive art on your own.

This workshop is ideal for beginners to POSCA markers or those interested in adding a new illustrative technique to their creative toolkit.

This workshop promises a creative and inspiring experience where you’ll gain confidence in using POSCA markers, learn key artistic techniques, and connect with other art enthusiasts!

- Must be 16 years and up

Classes are limited to 15 to ensure individual attention.

• Pre-order your supplies and receive them at a discount.  Purchase separately at $74.95.  Bundle them and receive them at $65 bundled supplies provided by Huntsville Art Supplies (the supplies will be ready for pickup the first day of class at Huntsville Art Supplies, studio 270)  or purchase only what you need: Huntsville Art Supplies

• Heavyweight Black Cardstock
• Blackwing Matte Pencil

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Hello! I am Keyton Bonebrake and I am a local illustrator and printmaker in Huntsville Alabama. For my illustrations I primarily use Posca Markers so I am thrilled to teach you my tips and tricks to illustrating with these fantastic tools. This course is good for those interested in learning how to use posca markers or for those looking for a new illustrative technique.
