The last several painting projects have been beautiful beverages of alcoholic drinks, and well, I don’t drink alcohol, so I thought it would be nice to show a non-alcoholic drink so I found a refreshing cool water drink that includes lemon and mint. How summer fresh does this look?
I this painting, we’ll approach it over the course of two weeks to drive home the use of Neo Megilp and creating glazing layers that creates amazing transparency. As a result, you’ll learn how to:
- practice painting glass
- understand how reflections and reflective light works
- create the illusion of depth
- create condensation on glass
- Bonus Video that will guide you on how we can use Canva to create unique overlays to go over our paintings. which you could then use to create some unique designs that you can print for invitations, canvas prints for family, etc. (Imagine this on a pool party invitation!)
Through practical application, you’ll gain practice using the following oil painting techniques:
- fat over thin
- glazing
- scumbling
- color theory
